Lincoln Lewis is a summer intern in UVA’s graduate school of urban planning. He helped create this short survey to learn about business needs as related to the Town’s draft comprehensive plan.
The survey is now live and Town Administrator and staff are pushing it out on several channels. These include Scottsville Monthly, The James Exchange, Facebook, and Albemarle County’s community list (this was facilitated by Supervisor Price).

After Monday’s meetings with Thomas Jefferson Planning District Commission and the VDOT Roundtable, We’ll begin to work on the other requested survey outreach methods, including:
- QR code posters, placing them at AirBnBs somehow and local businesses
- Potential Baines coffee incentive for patrons that fill out survey
- Paper-based survey specifically for town residents
