Committee Charter:
This Charter establishes a standing committee of the Town Council of the Town of Scottsville to be known as the Tourism and Economic Development Committee.  The committee is charged with full responsibility for promoting the Town to attract tourists and consumers, establishing conditions conducive to achieving a robust and vital climate for local businesses, and attracting appropriate new industries and businesses to provide jobs for the people of Scottsville.  Subject to the availability of resources, Council will provide the committee with the means and authority needed to carry out that responsibility.
