Life in Scottsville

River access, affordable real estate, talented labor and world-class education make Scottsville a rewarding place to live and work. As do the people: One of the strengths of being in a small town is that you can know your neighbors, and many are willing to help. Business owners and residents contribute their talents to support the arts, history, education and more facets of small town life through several different community organizations and churches. The town’s Arts & Culture committee hosts a calendar of many events.

Our Mayor and Town Council welcome inquiries about joining Scottsville’s business community. Call the Town Administrator to set up an appointment at 434.286.9287. We can help connect you to review available office, retail, industrial and undeveloped real estate.

Or, see for yourself. Drop by any of our restaurants and entertainment venues, historic sites, outdoor guides, inns and motels, or retail stores.
